This is a very good live Cd from Kiss.At the time it was long overdue for a new alive album.Since this there is an alive 4.
The best alive CD is Alive 1.
But this captures Kiss without their makeup.Bruce Kulick was on lead here and did a mighty fine job.And on the skins was Eric Singer. Its a pity Eric Carr was on none of the alive albums, but did appear on Animalive which was just as good as an alive album.Eric Singer also did very well here.
And Gene and Paul naturally did their stuff.
In all this is quite a good cd,great listening from start to finish.I like the way it ends with Star Spangled Banner.
Cool CD this.

I give it 3 1/2 stars.A live CD that many of us never thought would see the light of day.'Alive III' was produced by long-time producer Eddie Kramer.A few old fans here and there might be a bit let down, but for the most part,'Alive III' is decent.Total of sixteen cuts, with a running time at 67:26 as there's just four early tunes here,"Deuce","Watchin' You","Detroit Rock City" and "Rock And Roll All Nite".That's okay.As for myself,I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the later material as well,"Unholy","Creatures Of The Night","Lick It Up" and "I Was Made For Loving You"(after all these years,I'm used to it anyway). No,'Alive III' isn't as great as the first 'Alive' record. But then again, did you really expect it to be?

This review is from: Dance To The Piper (The O'hurleys) (Paperback)

This was the first of the O'Hurley series that I read, because it is almost impossible to tell which one goes first! (FYI, for those who like to read things in order, I have now learned that "The Last Honest Woman" comes first, then this book, then "Skin Deep", and last, I think, is "Without a Trace".) That said, this book was very enjoyable. Maddy, the "youngest" of the O'Hurley Triplets, is a dancer by profession and by nature. She has grown up in the theater and knows nothing about hiding her emotions or her feelings -- they are meant to be acted upon! When she meets Reed Valentine and almost immediately falls in love with him, she must learn how to deal with someone who is less forthcoming than herself, and who may never be able to love her the way she does him.
Well, this is a Nora Roberts romance, so we know she'll eventually succeed, but the book was very entertaining and enjoyable in getting to that point. The theater was vividly described, and the primary characters were very sympathetic. Also I especially liked the character of Edwin, Reed's father. This is a quick read but a good one!

This review is from: Goddess Crepeset soft cup bra (Apparel)

I had tried this bra before in my normal size of 42DD and found that it did not fit well and the narrow shoulder straps dug into my shoulders. So I was very surprised that by going to the next larger cup size both the fit and shoulder strap issue were corrected. This is now one of my favorite bras and is the most supportive soft cup bra I have ever worn.

Fair sweater but the cut is uncharacteristic for CK. The fit is big enough to accomodate a pot belly. I'm a tall and skinny guy. The fit was not right for me. I also think that this sweater is overpriced. A fairer price would be $30.

This review is from: Livin' It Up (Audio CD)

This is in many ways a typical George Strait album of the eighties but it finds George in a particularly relaxed mood - almost as if he's trying to tempt a few Don Williams fans to buy the album.

The album yielded two number one country hits (Love without end amen, I've come to expect it from you), both original songs, and a country top five hit (Drinking Champagne), which was a cover of a song originally recorded by Cal Smith. George recorded two songs (Someone had to teach you, She loves me she don't love you) with his road band. The other tracks including the hits were recorded with studio musicians - however, the album flows seamlessly and if you didn't read the credits (or this review) you probably wouldn't realize that different musicians were used. There are plenty of other wonderful songs here including Lonesome rodeo cowboy, We're supposed to do that now and then, When you're a man on your own and Stranger in my arms.

This is a very enjoyable George Strait album. It probably isn't the place to begin a George Strait collection (unless you're also a Don Williams fan) but it definitely desevves a place in such a collection.

This review is from: Yes: Live at Montreux 2003 (DVD)

Although YesYears is the perfect documentary DVD to have of Yes, this new DVD of Yes "Live at the Montreaux" even exceeds the quality and appeal of the "Songs of Tsongas" DVD that I've bought last year.

The picture quality is excellent. I'd say that this was filmed in either High Definition or it was, at least, filmed with very high quality cameras put to high quality film. What makes this one better (to me) over "Tsongas" is the line-up of the tunes. They played more of the classic standards from the seventies, plus it allowed for them all to enjoy showing off some of their solo work. Rick Wakeman's solo alone makes the whole show so rewarding to watch and to own. I don't have any Rick Wakeman DVD's where his performance entertained me as much as his solo did on this DVD.

I am hearing some sound quality flaws here and there but it's not too disturbing. And, at one point, I think Jon Anderson was censored for saying something that had to be "bleeped" out. Oh well.

"Keys to Ascension" was my favorite live Yes DVD because of the chosen songs. But this new "Live at Montreaux" DVD surpasses the appeal of all the known releases of Yes performed live. (To me anyway).

Jump on it people! It's that good!!!!

Most Strait albums are so well formulated, and predictable. He knows what works, what the fans want and delivers! This album departs a little from the norm, as did 'Beyond the Blue Neon'. Some of the traditional songs are very melancholy, while the others remind me of what Sinatra would sound like if he made a country recording. This rift in styles makes a strange mix for the album, but it is still good. I like this ' Frank Sinatra side' of George, and he shows his Sinatra influence with sincerity, while still being country thru and through.

I am like everybody else with a whole shelf of Yes DVDs. I swore I would never buy another one until a new album came out but in a weak moment I bought this one. I am sad to report that if you are a Yes fan, you have to own this! Remember the "Keys" DVD; this is what we hoped that one would have been the best video of the classic line up. That one fell short but after all now we have the 35th anniversary one right? Well, this one as the other reviewers have pointed out is the best one yet & they are right. The band was on fire and on their best behavior. Just buy it now and put the 35th on the shelf for awhile.

My daily bra is the Goddess Women's Smooth Simplicity Underwire Bra, so when I needed a bra with convertible straps, I decided to give the Goddess Women's Marilyn Strapless a try. To its credit, it did a halfway decent job of supporting my 38H figure, and it has several useful options for converting the straps. It is not suitable to wear under anything smooth or clingy as the wire supports and seams are quite lumpy. Unfortunately, this bra is extremely uncomfortable. The vertical supports under the arms dug into my ribs so badly that I ended up with bruises and raw spots after a few hours wear.
